The u-bolt is a kind of anchor bolt. When the mechanical component is installed on the concrete foundation, it is used in concrete with the j-shaped, l-shaped, 9-shaped, u-shaped end of the bolt.

U-bolt English name for U - bolt, are standard parts, is for U shape so also known as U screw, U type pipe clamp, U type pipe clamp, two head have a thread can be combined with the nut, it is mainly used for fixed tubes such as pipes or flake content such as automobile plate spring.

The fastener standard of the u type bolt is the norm, and each country and department has its own standard.

At present, the most commonly used standards in our business are the following:


GB -- Chinese national standard (national standard) ANSI -- American national standard (American standard)

DIN - German national standard (German standard) ASME - American association of mechanical engineers.

JIS - Japanese national standard (Japanese standard) BSW - British national standard.

GB - national standards are one of many standards in China, and there are industry standards, professional standards and departmental standards.

National standards: GB (strong standards) and GB/T (recommended standards) and GBn (national internal standards).

What we normally see like GB30, GB5783 and so on are all mandatory standards.


Anchor bolts can be divided into:

1. Fixed anchor bolts.

2. Movable anchor bolts.

3. Expanding anchor bolt.

4. Sticky ground bolt.

5. According to the appearance, it is divided into: L type embedded bolt, j-type embedded bolt, 9 type embedded bolt, u-type embedded bolt, welding embedded bolt, and floor embedded bolt.

6. Anchor bolt of anchor bolt, welding anchor bolt, anchor claw type anchor bolt, steel plate type anchor bolt, floor bolt, floor screw, foot wire, etc.

It is buried in the concrete foundation and is used for fixing various machines and equipment.

The 7 - word anchor bolt is one of the more commonly used in anchor bolts.

It is generally made of Q235 steel, with high strength of Q345B or 16Mn material processing, and it is also useful for the processing of 88-level strength of the 40Cr material, and occasionally it can be processed with secondary or three-level rebar.

The anchor bolts have the different forms of wool, thick and thin.

Raw material is raw material steel without modification, with round steel or wire directly processing;

The rod or type A, the thin rod or type B, are all made of steel, which is changed into the required rod diameter.

Welded anchor bolts are made after welded stiffened plates with single head bolts.

It has strong tensile strength.

According to the different conditions, it can reach 3.6, 4.8, 6.8 and 8.8 respectively.

The tensile strength of the 6-7 - word anchor bolt is the tensile strength of the steel itself.

Q345B or 16Mn raw material with direct processing of the anchor bolts can reach the tensile strength of 5.8.

The tensile strength of grade 4.8, 5.8, 6.8 and 8.8 is referenced in GB/T3098.1 for mechanical properties.
